The rise can be ascribed to the Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) program, which allocated 331,000mt and 1,200,000 liters of fertilizers in 2019, as well as the COCOBOD subsidies for cocoa producers, which allotted 159,000mt and 446,400 liters throughout 2019.
