Bryan Acheampong, the minister for Food and Agriculture, has revealed an undergoing plan to build the biggest poultry farm in Ghana by the business Mogul Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.
The poultry farm business is one of the most lucrative businesses to venture into in Ghana. According to the minister, the business mogul Dr. Kwame Despite bought into the idea of venturing into the poultry sector after cross-examining a said proposal from the minister.
Speaking on a radio show on Peace FM with the famous host Kwame Sefa Kayi “Your senior brothers, Despite and Ofori, came to meet me that after our last meeting when we discussed something about the poultry industry, Ofori said myself and Despite can do poultry as a business and as means of feeding the country if this is what you are saying” the minister Bryan Acheampong to Sefa Kayi.
The government has not given up on the planting and rearing for food and job policy in Ghana, as another version of the policy is yet to be rolled out. The minister declared to boost the agriculture sector.
The minister assured the Kwame Despite his full support in giving them the necessary support; they will need to establish the biggest poultry farm in Ghana.
