The heat wave is projected to last through the week, and bird mortality is expected to rise, authorizes warn.

The current heat wave situation is affecting not only the farmers but the general public at large. Insurance companies have begun assessing to compensate farmers who have already filed their claims.

In a message from an insurance firm, the farmers were told to “store the dead birds in a cool place (like an egg refrigeration room) until an appraiser arrives to document and count the dead birds, and then dispose of them in a concentrated manner.”
