Okra Consumption
Okra Consumption is very high in Ghana, especially in the Volta Region of Ghana. The voltarians use okra for almost every dish they consume. The popular dishes consumed in the volta region include Akple and Okra soup, Dzemkple, Agbeli kaklo, and Yake Yake. All these dishes can be eaten with okra soup or stew.
In the Akan community in Ghana Okra is used in eating a maize and cassava diet called “Banku”. This dish can be served with either the okra soup or the Okra stew.
