The hack seemed too wonderful to be true, so we tested it. Two air fryers at various temperatures produced startling accurate and satisfactory results every time.
The first air fryer boiled eggs for 9 minutes, 12 minutes, and 15 minutes at 300 F. Each egg was submerged in an ice bath for 3 minutes to chill.
For easy peeling, softly tap and shatter the egg's shell with a metal spoon. To remove the shell, immerse the egg in water.
This approach produced beautifully runny, slightly creamy, and perfectly set centres at 9, 12, and 15 minutes. We repeated the process with a second air fryer at 270 F
for 9 minutes, 11 minutes, 13 minutes, and 15 minutes. This produced runny, set, creamy, and thoroughly cooked centres.

We found that the egg temperature may be adjusted by 30 F without burning or undercooking. Time is the main factor in egg doneness.
For deviled eggs, cook them longer; for avocado toast, cook them shorter. This technique makes hard-boiled eggs easy and clean.
