The chicken named Lacey was found on Gabriola Island, B.C. Lacey achieved this new record for her intelligence, unlike the usual chicken performances based on size and eggs.
Chicken Lacey now holds the new record for the smartest chicken recorded in the world. According to the Guinness World Record, she can identify colors, shapes, and letters.
Lacey is owned by Emily Carrington, a veterinarian now dedicated to learning chicken behavior and has said to collect data for scientific research.
