The Federal Government of Nigeria has released 200 trucks containing grains and crop fertilizers to cushion hardship in Nigeria.
All government states in Nigeria receive grains and fertilizers as Palliatives to stabilize the high cost of food prices due to maize prices shooting up drastically and causing a lot of poultry and livestock farmers to abandon their daily productions.
This new development was released by George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation in Abuja during a presidential address.
He further asked Nigerians should deal with the suffering caused by the removal of the petroleum subsidy. The government is aware of the current situation, but stabilizing the system will take some time.
